Your Power Level rises as you train in combat. Every 3 levels in Melee, Archery, Magic, or Light equals +1 Power Level. Each skill counts the same. You gain experience by dealing damage—so the more you fight, the stronger you’ll grow.

On your first steps into the dungeon, you’ll find:

  • Birch Wand

  • Toxic Spores (Poison spell)

  • Lightning Arc (Electric spell)

You’ll later discover Sunstrike (Light spell) in a chest, and on deeper levels, the Birch Staff and Tome of Flickering Runes, along with rare spell scroll drops like Plague Pulse and Shocking End.

When the journey begins, Amara starts at:

  • Power Level: 1

  • Health Points (HP): 100

  • Energy Points (EP): 100

  • Magic Points (MP): 100

  • Melee, Archery, Magic, and Light: All begin at Level 1

  • Active Spells – Equipped to your Quick Item slots (you start with 3). Cast them in battle.

  • Passive Spells – Equipped to your Character Window. Up to 3 can be active at once for ongoing benefits.

Each spell is tied to an element, and has a chance to inflict its related status effect (like poison, shock, or redemption).

The first creatures you’ll meet are:

  • Squeakle – Water type, weak to Electric spells.

  • Chirpleaf – Earth type, weak to Poison spells.

Corrupted versions appear deeper in the dungeon and are weak to your Light spells.

Amara can find auto-use potions that trigger as soon as you pick them up:

  • Lesser Health Potion – Restores 50 HP over 5 seconds.

  • Minor Energy Potion – Restores 50 EP instantly.

  • Azure Dew – Restores 50 MP instantly.

  • Magic – Wands, Staffs, and Tomes with unique casting speeds and animations.

  • Archery (later) – Shortbows, Longbows, and Crossbows with arrows and bolts.

  • Melee (expanded later) – Daggers, Straightswords, Greatswords, and Shields.

  • Movement & Defense – Dodge rolling and blocking with weapons or shields (shields block more effectively).

Light magic can redeem corrupted creatures, restoring them to normal—or weaken them if they resist. For example, the Soul Unchained spell releases darkness from enemies to redeem them. Some rare spell scrolls, like Sunstrike, can also drop through redemption.

The Lost Labyrinth will initially have 2 floors:

  • Level 1 – Early gear and spells, normal versions of creatures.

  • Level 2 – More advanced gear, a chance at rare spell drops, and both normal and corrupted creatures.

Later milestones add bosses, traps, and hidden enemies that can be revealed with special Light spells.

Yes! Eldoria supports both Xbox controller and keyboard + mouse. The HUD and menus are designed to feel smooth and intuitive on either input.

My brother and I have worked on many previous projects and they were mostly all quick "failures". Failure is a requirement in order to truly glean valuable experience and gain knowledge on how to make a game that shines something special.

After it seemed like my life was falling a part, I was given a gift to have the time, space and well-being to create the game I know this world is needing. This game is my everything and I will do whatever it takes to make sure Eldoria sees the light of day.

Eldoria has many messages and lessons to share, but perhaps one of the most important messages is, "The world is not what it seems, as the world is not as dark as we're told it is. There is Light".

Hey there! I'm Carlos, and I'm the lead programmer on Eldoria. My dream is to release video games that I would love to play, myself. I love math, science, and making software functional, especially when graphics and networking are involved.
